You really should stop beating your head against the brick wall of resignation...it's got to be painful, and will only serve to give you a bloody big headache. It's pointless to try to persuade or dissaude people from the actions or inactions that they have resigned themselves to.
At this point it is best not to engage anyone in debate over any issues concerning ACMG as the emotions are at high tide and we're all liable to be swept away if this continues.
For your health and sanity, it's best to take a break and let this thing ride. Each individual has their own feelings and beliefs and reasons for them, no sense wrestling with emotion based actions or inactions, it will only leave you weak and spent.
