ImIrish; yes this strikes me as strange. I assume they are not releasing the share count because it is disappointing news, at least to some degree.
Also, the "other income", as someone just speculated, may be from trading PBLS stock, and I had wondered what the heck this other income was on the 2005 PR, but this is the best guess, and makes a lot of sense. So, my bet is that the stock trading other income is 97% a sure bet, and thus the profits from operations are $1.48 million. Divide this by 900 mil. shares (worse than expected), and you get .00164 eps. That is far lower than the expectations on this board. However, improvement will come in eps over time, but it may take longer than people expect.
Also, they need some type of cash infusion. Will they still be able to buy and sell their stock? I suppose so, but that would definitely put a cap on the stock price.
