Fed, you did know what you were talking about (no surprise with you) but the responses Ren got really enlightened me to the way things are set up....to the system that Spooz has injected itself into.
Ren, thank you for posting those responses. Paul and Darryl did a great job of explaining the relationship and way that Spooz, TT, and the brokers will interact
Allie, thank you again for all the housekeeping here!
The exerpt below is quoted from Darryl's response to Ren's email. It grabbed my interest.....
"Currently we are able to offer these in an always centered format that does not encroach on the TT patents for MD Trader. Additionally, we have developed highly advanced DOM trading decks that utilize features that come under the TT patents. We have a method by which we can offer these to the public under a patent license agreement with TT, however these patents may be overturned in the courts later this month. We are waiting to see which way to go on products using TT features."
Spooz has priced their modules so aggressively that I am not surprised that TT will put up a fight here involving patents and such. It appears that TT is a prize bull and while they respect spooz, they may not let them take up too much of their pasture. This will be an interesting devlopment to follow....the good thing for us, is even if it doesn't turn out for us, it is just one section of one revenue string and shouldn't be that big of a deal....
News tomorrow!!! Allie, we missed a pr in our list about the end of the 504s...silly us.
