It's very simple. Imclone is a growth stock, whereas the only way the public can make money is by Imclone's stock proce moving. It doesn't matter whether it's up or down it just has to move.

Both the top price and the bottom price are contained by common sense but what's inbetween is subject to the street.

What if tonite we decide Imclone is really worth $50. So lets say tomorrow am the stock opens and stays at $50. Then what? Who wants to own it at $50.

If you currently own Imclone you'd be tickled pink that it opened and stayed at $50, but how about week from now or a month from now? How about a year from now? Would you still hold?

AS of today, IMCL has lost just one court case to Yeda.

And a step in a right direction. Carl had to fire losers a long time ago.


ImClone says has replaced patent litigation team

BOSTON, June 12 (Reuters) - U.S. biotechnology company ImClone Systems Inc. (IMCL.O) said on Tuesday it looks forward to defending its patent litigation dispute with rival Repligen Corp. (RGEN.O) and has replaced its in-house and external patent litigation teams.

"We respect the decision of the court and look forward to defending the case on its merits at trial," the company said in a statement. "Prior to the court's ruling ImClone Systems had decided to proceed with new counsel handling all aspects of its intellectual property litigation matters.
