You know, people are sometimes pretty much in a rut. I know that my father bought some SPZI shares. When I told him about TT and the deal with them & tried to convey what made them a very special deal.... well, it took a lot just to explain. He just kinda shrugged and turned away. The reality is this IMHO: he trades thru Ameritrade and he really doesn;'t get futures trading or commodities or such things. Ameritrade is a household name.
I can just plain tell you that a lot of ordinary folks will perk up and be interested if a known name is in a PR from Spooz, but an anknown name, even though a really big player in the industry, will merely cause them to give you a blank look. So, I have an obviously out-of-favor opinion that known names (TD Ameritrade) and somewhat known names (OptionExpress)will generate a bigger splash than this most recent one from TT. Just my opinion, but I pretty much took the modest uptick in stride due to my view on this.
