If you were told you don't have cancer and you actually did one could potentially be sued for not providing proper information. On the contrary, if you don't have cancer but the test said you did, the end result would obviously be less critical-you would live (although lawsuits could still be filed, they would be for less money).
Therefore, it will be important to determine the accuracy of these tests and provide such to those taking the tests.
