that's good news. They should they post it somewhere on the site so there is less confusion about the policy. With the iPod you can order a new battery for $50 and change it out yourself (www.ipodbattery.com) but there are special hex-screws on the Gateway model. I'll try to confirm the policy with the Gateway Tech Center and add that to the review.
