NE, as soon as you request your cert, the broker will remove them from tradability, though they'll still show up in your account (atleast, they do in mine). Once they are issued, they should be removed altogether from your account until you sign it/them,and return them to your broker, where they will be tradable again.
Be sure to return them to your broker via certified mail. It would be ashame if they got lost in the mail. Also, be sure to photocopy it/them, for added security measures.
