I don't know if they are working on getting an expert to help them or not. I can tell you that the company does employ some expert divers. I've seen the companies business plan for down south. I was amazed. It is a Great Plan. I know that their media relations person is top notch. I do know that the company will be successful with the people that they have working for them. It's just my opinion that it would be even more productive if someone with a lot of experience was making more decisions. I still stand by my assessment that the company is going to be bringing up a lot of treasure shortly.
DBrunner, as to the sonar that you mentioned. I hope that they are talking about using a sub-bottom profiler that takes images under the strata. I also want to point out for those of you that don't know, it will not penetrate a hard bottom. So. if there is rock or coral or a like material, it isn't going to work. My guess is that they are correct in what they are planning.
I believe that treasure will be coming on deck this week. Whether they put that out in a PR is anyones guess. The Marine Sanctuary may want them to hold off on a PR on treasure for now.
