Of course I'm serious, as ridiculous as it sounds. A perfect example of something like this occurred in 1998. A company called Temco Services tripled because people had mistaken its symbol (TMCO) for that of Ticketmaster Online (TMCS). So as stupid as it sounds I can say with some confidence that it happens often, especially in this area of stocks. Where you aren’t really concerned about the company’s prospects, or even their purpose, your simply trying to exploit the volatility.
