thanks castle for the valuable information. but i still don't get about the par value of a stock. because i see jmcp with the par value of 0.01 but it trade at 0.0001, so what' is that mean. thank you and have a good day.

I would assume it means nothing... can't say it better than Investopedia:

Investopedia Says... For stocks, par is usually a small dollar amount that bears no relationship to the security's market price.

I've seen a stock with a par value of .15 selling for much less than that. I don't remember which one that was, though.
