Wrong, when was the last time you had a background check? Mine was just done and I specifically requested that they look into my being sued. Nothing, nada, and I gave them the case number and court location! Wrong, its a nonevent, did not happen is what I'm being told! David

this isn't a criminal record..
there are so many level of clearances you can't begin to categorise any in particular..
some minor ones only require an NAC which COULD be done in minutes today..
others require visits to old neighbors and teachers..
you know what they are looking for? to make sure you really are who you say you are...
and? to check out your "personality profile"
lessay you need a clearance to get on Spec Forces? do you think they are gonna "cut" you for being unruly in class? or a bully? hell no... BUT? they would "cut" you if your teachers remember that you were always stoned. or running a card game..
anybody that can be blackmailed or trapped into heavy debt is a security risk... gambling addicts are serious security breaches..
d'oh? what about playing peniestocks? is that gambling? YES ...
in other words? this suit would only reveal that you probably should NOT have the clearance anyway if you are denied one cuz of it..
