As I understand it, the C++ scripting takes place on the middleware piece. You actually retain your ability to also conduct custom manipulations in the Excel piece too via VBA. So, the way users "fine tune" the middleware is via the scripting piece. Now, bear in mind that it is user friendly and there are going to be completely usable trading systems... ready to go, raedy for prime time. I imaging theese will be buyable either as a one time cost or as an ongoing monthly subscription. And you could tweak one of these probably to fine tune it yourself (I'm speculating here). Anyway, thats how the middleware acts as more than a neutral calculation engine. That what I think is the nature of this thing anyway. Could be wrong, of course, but If you drew a line across the middle of a page of paper, then i'm fairly sure I'm at least on the right side of the functionality / user inerface situation.

plus it is mallable....like clay.
