I guess we should heed their warning. We tick them off too much and they might decide to dump all the US Treasury securities the hold. That would be catastrophic for the US Treasuries market and probably our economy. Heck, all they've got to do is threaten to stop shipping products to WalMart and the world's largest retailer would grind to an amazingly quick halt.
