That sir is just so much BS. Unico made no profit, check the 10-K from that year. Unico ran the mill for a very short while processing the same tailings pile they are working now. They processed and shipped 40 tons of 'concentrates' to the Penoles smelter in Mexico. What did they receive for all their efforts? For one, they ruined the mill, and, secondly they got a check for $15,000. That did not even come close to paying their expenses to accomplish this. At today's metal prices that would be somewhere around $40-45,000. Not at all 'rich'.
