Funny thing about thieves is you never know what thoughts go through there heads. I guess they are afraid of getting cut up on broken glass. As far as the windows go when you have film-covered windows like I showed you couple of weeks ago it makes it more difficult. Bottom line is if a thief wants in, they will get in making it more difficult just stops the lazy ones which is about 90% percent of the thieves.
Next time you are making your rounds query how many of the prisoners go through the front door even if it were steel and how many go through the window instead of kicking down the door.
PS - The door at my rent house is solid core wood and the frame so well reinforce (lessons learned from past break-ins) now that when the thief tried to kick in the door like you stated but it set off the sound\glass break detector and the guy ran away just leaving his shoe print in the door. Making it difficult and drawing attention…. thieves don’t like that. The price and perils of being a slumlord make you smarter than the average thief.!
