Please note: As someone who is very involved in the industry I can tell you ALL your points were made about Survivor, American Idol, Apprentice, So You Think You Can Dance, etc. The Youth of America, this network viewers have accepted, this type of programming g as their own. All you need is to watch the crap on You Tube.
That being said, RR is following what is now a 7 year old proven formula created by the first show Survivor.
And if you look at the crew shots, you can see it is not a 'low budget' production. They are using a standard network two camera HD crew.
