HEC: This is another profitable oil company that's been pretty battered, this trades below book value and may be entering a seasonally-strong period.
OPBL: This stock has been pretty beat up lately, even has lawsuits filed against it now. I'd have to say it's the riskiest stock in the portfolio, but with at least a good bit of the negative news out, maybe it has already found a bottom?
NSMG: This is my wildcard pick, they do roofing, and have an area covered along the Gulf coast from Florida to Louisiana. With hurricane season approaching on June 1st, this stock is entering what may be it's strongest months of the year.
NXG: I wanted to have a $GOLD play in the portfolio out of the 6 picks. With 2 oil plays, and 2 hurricane plays, and one risky play. The portfolio needed some stabilization with a $GOLD play. After searching far and wide, I've concluded that NXG is the most undervalued profitable $GOLD company in the stock market today.
WEGI: This is a profitable hurricane play. Although their most recent quarterly will likely be followed in the coming week will not show profits due to seasonal weakness. I expect any dips below the .25 level caused by the quarterly report or boredom in the tropics over the next month to be gobbled up.
