UPDATE ON NAME CHANGE The majority shareholder action confirmed the appointment of Dr. Rupert Perrin, Dr. Lawrence Madoff and Dr. Paul Bandt as directors of the company. In addition, the appointments of Wayne Norris as president and CEO, and Andrea Lindsay as secretary-treasurer were approved. The name change to "NanoSignal" was deferred by majority shareholder action pending a complete database search including service and trademark searches. The company's software engineering team headed up by Chris Puleo and Sherry Yavelak reported that although SLICES(TM) was developed over 10 years ago, it has been completely re-calibrated to meet today's new computing standards using a LINUX program. It was further reported that all new computing units will be built by a West Coast hardware vendor who is a leader in LINUX configurations. Norris addressed the shareholders and guests, as did Perrin and Madoff. The new secretary-treasurer Andrea Lindsay spoke about her job responsibilities.
Future events: The Company is looking to expand its relationship base at the Nano Medicine Expo 2004 in Tokyo, Japan, March 17-19, 2004, where it will further debut its SLICES(™) technology to the world.
At the core of the system is a totally novel method of reconstructing the MR information obtained by the machine (the raw data), developed by Dr. Jeffery Taft. The Company's product uses a unique algorithm, exchange analytic computation technique (EXACT), which decouples the size of the raw data from the image matrix size and overcomes a lot of the inherent limitations of the Fourier transformations.
