People buy when Brokers mess up on splits. The brokers liquidate the accounts of those who sold what was supposed to be restricted shares to cover those positions. The Naked-short squeeze is a different ball-game, which is illegal and usually MMs manipulate the PPs to keep it down and thus cover when something big is about to happen. Like in NWWV, the brokers had to restrict trading because the activities of covering were unusual. I guess they covered all the illegal shares yesterday and the brokers will lift off the restrictions. Then we can move. Short squeezes don't work unless there is a broker mess-up or a merger in play.

shorts like to cover cheap as you say..and many likely did OR ARE CURRENTLY DOING SO imo currently, knowing the 2 companies together together with large contracts/JV's will make the sum of tha parts a very successful company imo..and you are right that ul;timately JV's, revenues, contracts will drive these 2 companies..with SMS exploding (PLYCF), a large SMS JV contract rumored to be in the works (PLYCF), and Wagerphone and the Billion dollare betting thru cell phones ( NWWV), I feel it's just a matter of time..may need a little patience, but no worries here...especially at these levels..time to ACCUMULATE if anything...
