I understand all of this.There is no rush at all on the so called squeeze they have plenty of time but,,, they the shorts will manipulate this stock for the next 2 months or until the merger takes effect. Also this stock has done nothing on any news. pr news is the lamest excuse here.The best thing that the company could do now is to wait until the merger is complete and then announce the JV news.IF they do it now its effect will be lost on the day traders and the MMs....
