As minority stockholders we do have rights. The company also has a fiduciary responsibility to convey pertinent information about operations of the company. If it fails to do so there is recourse available. They can certainly ignore requests or demands for this information, but at some point they jeopardize the companys ability to create revenue from stock value and expose themselves to criminal investigation and civil litigation.
