Petz, looks like you're referring to your old theory that if Intel releases a 64-bit x86 core, then they will destroy their prospects with IPF.

I guess they are basing their argument on historical
precedence. Consider how badly Intel's x86 sales fared
after they introduced StrongARM/XScale. Only room for
one 32 bit architecture in Intel's line up after all.
