Looks like we are going out of the oil business. Nothing about Sam's but they are in the supply side of the oin business and probably more profitable.
I an not surprised or really disappointed to see this as we have not heard anything positive from Rome oil for some time. Activities seem to have been stalled, I would guess, due to poor production and the cost of competing with the big dogs for profitable leases.
With a table full of working divisions the oil exploration business may have diverted more time, energy and money than was available.
Looks like we are spinning off a weak sister.
