Osger- If there were broad interest in buying NSDM wouldn't the price rise? This is a double-bid auction. When I can't get filled at .03 I raise it to .032. When that doesn't work I raise my offer further. Right now people on the sell side can't find takers at .034 so they're lowering it to .032.
Is it manipulation? It’s possible. Some MM will sell 500 shares at .028 for instance. Then someone seeing the trend heading lower will offer to sell at market and the MM swoops in and acquires 1 million shares at .028 or .029.
Fine; it could happen, but only if there is wide-spread perception that the company isn't worth more. This is where management has stumbled. They have not been able to present their prospects in a positive light. I don't know what will help this company's image, but this board behaving like company shills is not going to do it. We need to be honest with each other and demand that the company be accountable to us. If Walter is not ready to go fully reporting now, he still has a good idea what his financial position is. He needs to put it in writing and let us see where we are.
Folks on this board have insisted that he's a "good and honorable man". I don't think any of them know that, or if they do I would like them to disclose the nature of their relationship.
I understand there are 200 kimberlite pipes to explore. It's impressive but it's not important right now; there could be 2,000,000. At what point are we going to have to close the doors for lack of funding? Is it next Tuesday? Is it next December? Is the funding infinite? Are we children that we can't be told the truth?
Who knows? Lack of disclosure could turn out to be the main issue holding back this stock. I have recommended patience. I am still recommending patience. But the company could be doing more.
