There's nothing we know that warrants a drop of that magnitude. Either the stock is very far undervalued now, or there's something that hasn't yet emerged that is very bad. My feeling is that it's very far undervalued.
A lot of things converged, like the margin selling, the selling over the new contract and EMC's purchase. But the purchase shouldn't make NENG unnecessary to EMC, and the contract only hit a small percentage of NENG's profit margin. None of these add up to the kind of selling that occurred.
So, either we don't know something terrible or it's not there, and so far I'm voting that this stock is way undervalued. It's always rough when a stock gets hit this badly, but sometimes they come back as fast as they go down. And sometimes it takes a long time. Yes, sometimes they don't come back, but not when the crash was unjustified.
