You said "here" not RB... regardless, I have been watching the RB board which is overall a civilized and informative board compared to many over there. I've been thinking seriously of dabbling in NPCT.

It is very common business practice to rent booths at important events. The company I work for does it all the time and we are a very profitable company (ROI 20-30% in the last few years).

Obviously NPCT is a company struggling to make a go of it and is trying to promote it's product. Nothing wrong with that. In fact, I'd be worried it they weren't promoting their products, that's what companies do.
