That was why I stated earlier that one cannot look at raw increases without first knowing the base number. Later on in the conversation, I looked up the specifics on the IDC webpage:
So in Q2, we know that AMD had about 10% of the mobile market. If we take a SWAG and assume that the market is about 20-25% of the overall PC processor market (~40M units/Q), then we're talking 8-10M units, and AMD would have sold one tenth of that, or very close to Petz' estimate. That's a far cry from the 11-19k range.
