About the ascending triangle, just remember that I am going on a limb here. The formation is not as important as the likely hood of an uptrend. turns out that the indicators here favor an uptrend. An ascending triangle, from my perspective, would be nice, because it does reflect buyers running after an ever more expensive prive against sellers resolute to not sell below a set price, hence the formation.
