Today, during the last hour, I managed to scrape up some more shares at .008 and averaged down even further. I usually am quite diversified, but it seems like O&G stocks account for 63% of my portfolio with NAEG piled up high.

The MATL Shipper Update is prepared for the benefit of registered participants in the Montana
Alberta Transmission line Open Season Process.

Instructions

Instructions for

Bids

This is a reminder that the MATL Open Season for transmission capacity will
officially close Friday, April 15th, at 4:00P.M. MDT. All Service
Agreements, Long-Term TSR Purchase Agreements for Initial TSRs and
Service Application Forms must be completed, executed and submitted to
MATL prior to the closing deadline.

Parties wishing to submit a bid, or bids, for the MATL transmission capacity
must do so using the forms specified above. A separate Service Agreement
(“SA”) and a Long-Term TSR Purchase Agreement for Initial TSRs
(TSRPA”) must be submitted for each bid. Bids must be submitted
specifying the direction of the transmission capacity that `you wish to
obtain. Attachment 1 to the TSRPA (“Attachment 1”) is the actual “bid
document form”. A separate TSRPA with a completed Attachment 1
must be submitted with each bid. A party may bid for capacity in both
directions by specifying a different Point of Receipt and Point of Delivery
on Attachment 1. You must submit a separate bid for each direction. You
must also specify the term for the capacity that you wish to obtain.
Different terms for different capacity flow directions are acceptable. We
require that you submit bids for either 5, 10, or 15 years. In addition we
ask that the minimum capacity size that you bid is 25 MWs. However,
your bid may be greater than 25MWs. The rate submitted must be in
units of Canadian $/kW-month and must be greater than the initial floor
prices specified by MATL (i.e. $3.47/kW-month for the 15 year term,
$3.67/kW-month for the 10 year term and $4.34/kW-month for the 5 year
term). Remember that in the event of a tie, MATL will give preference to
longer term bids. Please also remember that each TSRPA and SA
submitted with each bid must be executed by your company. If you have
any questions about completing the forms we strongly encourage you to
call MATL staff for help.

Bids may be mailed or couriered to Montana Alberta Tie Limited at Suite
400B, 1040 7th Avenue S.W. Calgary, T2P 3G9. If the bid is mailed or
couriered to MATL the bid package must arrive prior to 4:00P.M. MDT. All
bids received will be time and date stamped. Please write on the outside of
your sealed envelope “Attention Brooke Crawford -MATL Open Season
Bid” so that we do not open your bid prior to the closing deadline.

Instructions for Bids may be sent by facsimile to MATL at 403-244-2340. Please write on the
faxed Bids cover page Attention Brooke Crawford – MATL Open Season Bid.

403-244-4487. Please call and alert Ms. Crawford prior to faxing your bid.
Ms. Crawford will place your bid(s) sent by fax in an envelope which will
then be sealed and subsequently opened only after the close of the MATL
Open Season. Bids will not be shown to any other personnel nor will any
copies of bids be made prior to the close of the Open Season. Please be aware
that MATL only has one fax machine and if you leave your bid to the last
moment, then the fax machine may ring busy. Therefore, please send in your
bids earlier in the day or the week. Also, pursuant to the open season
instructions, a sealed version of the bid must be received by 4:00 p.m. the next
business day (Monday April 18, 2005). The sealed version will be compared
to the fax version.

While we strongly discourage bids sent by e-mail, if that is the alternative that
you prefer, then please send the e-mail to brookec@associationsplus.ca. with
the Subject line MATL Open Season Bid. Please call and alert Ms. Crawford
prior to emailing your bid (see phone number above). Please remember that if
you send an e-mail, the SA and TSRPA must be executed. Ms. Crawford will
print off the bid and place it in a sealed envelope to be opened after the close
of the MATL open season. The e-mail will be saved in a password secure
area accessible only by Ms. Crawford. Also, pursuant to the open season
instructions, a sealed version of the bid must be received by 4:00 p.m. the next
business day (Monday April 18, 2005). The sealed version will be compared
to the emailed version.

Derrick Malcolm, Partner in the firm Grant Thornton LLP, has been retained
to perform an independent audit of MATL’s bid opening and TSR award
process. Mr. Malcolm will scrutinize the bid opening process and he will
judge the methodology and accuracy of the TSR award process according to
the criteria set out in the MATL tariff. Mr. Malcolm will report the results of
his audit to the FERC, the AESO, the AEUB and the NEB. The rate included
in each bid will be kept strictly confidential by the personnel of MATL and
Grant Thornton.

As soon as possible after the close of the Open Season process, MATL will
publish the results of the Open Season process on the MATL web site. The
results will include (1) the names of the winning bidders; (2) the quantity of
TSRs awarded identified by Point of Receipt and Point of Delivery; (3) the
expiration date of the TSRs awarded; (4) the clearing price for each term and

(5) the name, address, phone number and e-mail address of a contact person
for the winning bidder for the purposes of taking inquiries regarding trades of
the TSRs in the secondary market.
MATL is a joint venture between Rocky Mountain Power Ltd, LECTRIX Ltd. and Tonbridge Power Corporation. For
additional information contact Jan van Egteren (403) 264-4465, or 403-615-6089 (cell phone), 403-244-2340 (fax) (
