I too invest primarily based on technical considerations. With that being said I also like to keep an eye on the fundamental picture as well. I got burned for a small loss in ECNC (I think that was the symbol) a couple years ago when I bought in based on what I thought was a very bullish chart.
What I didn't realize was that they were putting out PRs like there was no tomorrow. I consider TA to be less reliable when there's alot of hype and/or promotion going on. I consider it to be most telling when there is little or no efforts at promotion.
I've had some success with stocks like DTMG and IDNW bottom feeding (I post to RB as ledrog) using this method. At any rate, best of luck.
