Good find. That was more than I have ever found about how much commercials cost in China. Obviously good ratings would drive the cost of a spot higher and I think there was a blurb in the 10K about December and beginning of the year probably drawing in more rev's as that is the holiday season in China.

Your estimates seem reasonale but I have a feeling the revenue will somehow get chopped up a little more than that but regardless it helps illustrate the potential if things go good and WWTBAM does well.
One can only hope the 2008 olympics in China may help as well and AAGH benefits in some way.

Great post! Q3 and Q4 will be huge, and the pps isn't yet reflecting the near term future of it's value. I'm looking to add more shares.

Assuming that they net 10% (low) on the $50 mil estimate, that would put their eps at about .07 ttm at this time next year. If their o/s stands at about 80 mil at that time that would put the pps at about $1.05 if the p/e is at 15. That's without any revs from other ops and/or other shows that they place under contract in the meantime. Trying to be conservative due to higher expenses related to ramping up production for other shows, etc. $1 will arrive sometime later this year.

Be nice to know a bit more about this Mak fellow... I mean, who is he? How did a small company put this WWTBAM thing together? How did he get in? I don't know about business in China, but if like in US, it is sort of corrupt, in terms of insiders, kick-backs, etc... Anyway, if he landed this BIG deal, wouldn't it make sense to assume that he might land another? I think the Olympics might already be set up, but I am sure that there are several other nice possibilities... I wonder if Wheel of Fortune or Price is Right would work in China?
