AMD has been saying this for over ten years now, ever since Intel came out with the "Intel Inside" campaign.

This is not a new accusation. Jerry Sanders said that the co-marketing dollars should be considered a virtual rebate and thus subject to anti-trust law. (Of course, this is the same guy that testified with a straight face that the Microsoft monopoly was good for the industry.)
