As I said before, Mgmt is on stealth mode and is letting the shorter get the cheap shares. As Clayton Williams once said about rape, just lay back and enjoy it. Trying to enjoy it but it's getting old. All imo.
This abstract is not an intro to a published article in the JOI. It's an abstract for a poster presentation at the AAI conf., (of which the JOI is their- AAI's- journal).. You will not find a Thorpe/Soares paper in that April JOI issue.
I do expect a bavi/viral paper, and I expect it to be worthy of a press release, since there has yet to be any peer-reviewed papers in the journals on anti-PS as a viral therapeutic.
The info in this abstract is not new. I do hope they bring something new to the conf., but what is mentioned in that abstract has been discussed in press releases in the past. As a matter of fact- it was presented at AAI in April of 2005 :) http://www.siliconinvestor.com/readmsg.aspx?msgid=21206762
But actually both the Pichinde and CMV experimental data goes back to patent applications from 2003.
In the past, there has been instances where AAI or SRI uses previous (old) abstract info, and we do hear new stuff from the conf. That may or may not be the case for this one coming up on the 19th.
