#12299 RE: Imperial Whazoo #12298

Thanks for the review... and look forward to more...

I think what they're talking about with the c++ compiled stuff might be that it generates the statically linked library for you to use with a driver app...

I had to write a script to c converter a long time ago, and it was always to intermediate c code ... And the only reason for that converter was for faster execution of code... scripts usually consume more memory than needed (because it is typeless - so unions are required to deal with any type) and are an order of magnitude slower... So it is really cool that it allows you to get the speed improvement you might need by auto converting to a compiled language like c++.

Great start to your assessment of STv2, Imperial. I'm sure many will have questions and comments to add, as well as, look forward to more posts from you.

There was no doubt in my mind that Spooz could develop a trading tool for professionals, but based on the demo that we've all witnessed...Spooz really pulled it off and STv2 can be used by anyone...

thanks Imperial....allie

Imperial Whazoo, A great start explaining Stv2 even though most of it went a mile over my head. L0L
Even though I'm not technically oriented I understand this part of your report: "they will release a tool to enable the users of TradeStation to bring their exciting code directly over and have it automatically converted."

Someone else has already pointed out some of the following but I'll repeat it. TradeStation (TRAD) income was up 1st Q '07 18% over 1st Q '06 and revenues were up 20% 1st Q '07 over 1st Q '06. However, their stock is down about 14% and appears to be in a down trend. I might add the TRAD drop in price begain days before their earnings/revenue was announced.

I'm wondering if 'Spooz talk' among professionals during pre launch might be strong enough to already influence TRAD pricing ?

Nice report Imperial Whazoo

and thank you for taking the time to share your impressions with the board. I would say your report further establishes the validity of the product and I am looking forward to reading your next installment.

From what I gather as you have described it, Spooz can be run right out of the box on virtually any system and is only limited by ones own imagination. What will prevent everyone from the begining user to the pro's from wanting Spooztoolz for themselves?
