HEY LAKERS! Good to have you over here. I read your posts on Yahoo because you always have links I don't find.

I think you get it regarding this stock. I'll post a chart later that I think just tells the tale.

BRCM's report really had nothing to do with MRVL. And MRVL did fine after hours because it seemed to be more tied to WDC. And it's funny how WDC confirmed what STX said and how it proves Cramer was wrong about his original reasoning for selling his stock in that the rumor of iPod going flash was going to be a big hit to MRVL in his opinion. And that STX had a bad quarter and could affect MRVL.

But I listened to the STX CEO say nothing of the sort. It was all about pricing and not demand. WDC proves it tonight and HDD sales volume is kicking ass. Like I said, Flash and HDD are two completely different technologies for two completely different purposes. All this video online and downloading is going to only drive demand further for them. MRVL is a big customer of MSFT's XBOX. We all know that the Elite is going to be a huge driver for HDDs because of the downloadable full 1080 HD movie downloads.

Then add in xScale. You know about that.

BTW - what do you think? xScale in iPhone? As I've said before, I say it really doesn't matter in the end, but I do think it's worth at least $4 in pure momo to MRVL.

Regarding that GS report, I think that's going to be looked back on as a big tell also. I'm wondering who initiated that meeting. I'm assuming GS because they probably have a ton invested in it or represent some who do and had to know WTF. That report I think put them at ease based on their meetings. That's why I have no problem at all with the stock down here other than the fact that it sucks.

re. GS and MRVL meeting. Can someone posts the report (or website link) of the meeting between GS and MRVL.
