I understand what you're saying about log scale vs linear scale and percentage movements vs absolute $ movements, linear is just my preference and, knowing the differences, I 'see' the chart for what it is.

Besides, that nascent cup/handle thing doesn't come through at ALL using log scale LOL.

Absolutely agree on the secondary indicators. I've written scans that spit out stocks that have the multi-indicator setup I like, which is part of my automated 'system'.

I rec Elder's book to everyone, it sits beside me every day and I've read it 3 times. Obviously and in spite of that, I will still fall for a story every now and then and ignore all the rules, about once every 6 years seems to be my cycle time. ;) I'll have to look at Nielson's book.
