Sorry, echarter, but I'm using today’s figures, not historic! Just look at this site; If you total up for the year of all the 87,756,000 carats and divide by 89,331,520 tons of kimberlite up it comes to .98 carats per ton or 98cpht for all of the Diamond Mines in the World for 2001! Not anywhere near 23cpht or 40cpht! The Premier comes up to 63cpht!
