Very rich price. With all the smoke, it was obvious a deal was going to get done. Most of the stuff I read suggested mid-40s and so I stayed away given potential risks and the large discount a stock swap could have had (notice they paid cash though).

Dew, good morning. Just last night, very late, I was reading
that a Medimune buyout would be in the $13 billion range
and now a $15+ billion buyout happens....you are correct..
they simply paid too much unless there is something with
Medimune that we are not privvy to. That is a lot of $$$
to try to recoup, integrate into a synergistic, symbiotic
relationship of minds, egos, and directions.

Best of luck to AZN and MEDI as a unified unit going forward.
