IMHO, No. What you said was the worst thing that someone could say to a mother or father.
Boo-fucking-hoo. If someone's feelings get hurt by something they read on a message board filled with perfect strangers, then they probably shouldn't spend their time on message boards.
Also, after Meme made her "go fuck yourself" comment, she probably shouldn't have brought her personal life into the discussion in order to use her son's political affiliation as a way to try to insult me. That was just asking for it.
I always thought that there was a difference between you and Libray Cop - you could carry on an intelligent discussion without the insults. In the past few months, however, you have changed.
LibraryCop never flamed anyone unless he was flamed first. I have the same policy.
You never, NEVER get so personal or low life as to tell someone they wish their son to leave home. That is disgusting.

As I already told Neuro in post #4001, if Meme's son truly does respect freedom and liberty, then the best thing that could happen to him would be for him to get as far away from his mother as soon as possible.
That may be hurful to Meme (not that she doesn't deserve it), but it is 100% true.
