iPhones: we're hoping we get a million.
Man, I hope they don't start out with anywhere near a million at launch. Any quality problems in the initial shipments and they would have a hell of a recall and cost and PR issue.
I'd expect Cingular/AT&T to want several tens of thousands at launch, and ramp up a weekly rate from there based on demand.
I suspect there is a big gap between 'expressing interest' on a web site, and actually handing over the plastic and signing up for a two year contract.
