fastlizzy...No one even hinted the FDA approval was around the corner, so I don't know where you got that or where you're coming from. Shareholders of Avanir know very well from two experiences, that the FDA approval is not guaranteed in any way. Avanir must request approval and before that, the stock will have its ups and downs. Then all hold their breath waiting for the FDA. So far the FDA has not been very kind to Avanir.
The $18 was right after the reverse split. I had sold shares before and after the split. Can't complain, Avanir has done well for me.
