Automatic really ... If you adopt a "No Own No Sell" the downward pressure will stop thus stock will likely esculate. Those with existing shorts will cover out of fear that the market will rise aniling them. Thus you stop the strategy of the "Floating Short" or the "Floating Cover" all together. They can;t hedge or short further to fight off the buying pressure.
