#1987 RE: avandalay05 #1986

That's what I heard recently as well. Many copper mines coming on line from Africa in the next a few years. Their byproduct is cobalt in Africa. I believe in the short term cobalt will do very well, but long term hard to say.

Black Pearl Minerals Consolidated Inc. is a Canadian-based mineral exploration company dedicated to the discovery and development of ore deposits. The Company is currently focused on high grade gold deposits in the Canadian Shield.

Moly / Copper / Gold

Resume of Projects
Four Metals polymetallic project http://www.blackpearlminerals.com/s/4Metals.asp
Frontier Drilling LLC is in the process of mobilizing its equipment to this property near Nogales, Ariz., and is scheduled to commence a minimum of 5,000 feet of core drilling at the beginning of March, 2007. This drill program will focus on expanding the existing high-grade core of the deposit. Surface and underground drilling by previous operators has returned numerous significant intercepts of copper, molybdenum, silver and gold. The target is the further development of a breccia-type pipe deposit similar to those in the nearby Cananea production district.
Molybdenum

The molybdenum grade at 4M is under sampled with only about 10 % of the drill core assayed for both Cu and Mo. Of the 15 drill holes which tested the supergene zone and were assayed for molybdenum the following intervals were recorded

(i) True widths are estimated to be approximately
80 per cent of reported widths
The property hosts a polymetallic deposit with potentially economically viable metals . Mine Reserves Associates (MRA) an independent geological engineering firm in Colorado (1996) estimated, on the basis of extensive drilling and underground development that there are 21.41 million tons grading 0.58% Cu (0.29% Cu cut-off) available in an open pit configuration at a waste to ore ratio of 0.93. A GEMCON designed open pit was included and estimate was based on extensive drilling and underground work. Within this resource there is a supergene enrichment zone with an estimated 7.84 million tons grading 1.20% copper, 0.066% molybdenum, 0.009 oz/ton gold and 0.08 oz/ton silver. These are historical estimates and complies with NI-43-101 policy under the category "Indicated Mineral Resource". These resources have not been verified by a qualified person and therefore should not be relied upon. The Company will undertake a resource calculation compliant with NI 43-101 upon finalization of the option agreement and completion of confirmation drilling.
Additional high grade intercepts have been recorded from drilling performed after the MRA resource estimate and the deposit has important molybdenum and gold and silver credits which were not included in the overall 1996 resource estimate
BLK management believes there is a high probability to confirm the existing resource and increase the potentially economic tonnage at 4M through drilling on known zones and on nearby exploration targets.
The 4m property is located in south central Arizona near past production areas and currently operating mining infrastructure.
Ferro/Wekusko gold property www.blackpearlminerals.com/s/Wekusko_Ferro.asp
The director of mines, Manitoba, has given approval for the removal and on-site processing of 9,110 tonnes as a bulk sample from the Gold Dust zone on the company's property located 20 kilometres east of Snow Lake, Man. Most of this tonnage will be extracted from an area drilled on close spacing by the company during the winters of 2005 and 2006. Mobilization of equipment has begun. Sourcing of the additional required equipment and personnel, including a 15-man camp, mill facility, blasting and haulage contractors, is in progress for a planned start-up this spring. The company will use the bulk sample test results to provide critical metallurgical and grade continuity information for future development plans on the property.

Leo/Gem claims
Drilling is in progress on this optioned property located 17 kilometres southwest of Lynn Lake, Man. Several short drill holes will test for a gold zone indicated by surface samples and an anomalous induced polarization trend.
Timmins Offsets gold property http://www.blackpearlminerals.com/s/NickelOffsets.asp
This 100-per-cent-owned property is located in Tully township about 40 kilometres north-northeast of Timmins, Ont., and is in a geological environment similar to the Hoyle township, Bell Creek, to Hoyle Pond mining operation of Kinross in the Timmins gold camp. The company is in the process of engaging an independent mining engineer to provide order of magnitude capital costs for underground access to the Timmins Offsets gold zone. The objective of an underground program would be to access the upper portions of the gold zone to confirm the geological and structural setting of the gold mineralization, and to confirm continuity of gold mineralization that has been outlined by surface drilling. Drilling by the company and previous operators has totalled 18,777 metres in 74 holes, which returned 29 gold intercepts greater than 10 grams per tonnes over significant widths, including the high-grade intercepts.
