Very good post, it answered a lot of my questions. I still have one question though: if you still own shares and there is in fact a trade restriction tomorrow, will that mean that you won't be able to sell your shares? Or is this something that no one knows for sure yet?

I think you have hit it on the nose Clarity.....theres only one way to remove the illegal shares from the market. Have them bought back on the market and then retired as the share structure is stated by BHUB. Frankly, if there is a halt i dont believe it to be a bad thing. It will allow time to chart a course.

Makes you wonder if Art was coaching Darrel...

based on what has transpired with BCIT up to this point. Sort of a lessons learned thing.

Right, but you lost me on how much shareholders (whether with legitimate or fraudulent shares) will be compensated for their shares. Do you have any non-expert advice?

Clarity - Being a "newbie" I appreciate your post. It explains the situation well. (I am currently on hold with Fidelity to see if they have any restrictions).

The question I have is, if a MM is selected to handle this mess, then will there still be a squeeze? It sounds like they still have to buy all shares back on the open market. If so, I like the idea of a deadline. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Clarity. I knew there was a reason I have you bookmarked. Assuming you have the DTC's role here down (and nobody's corrected you yet, so maybe you do), you make a horribly opaque scenario actually understandable.

No small accomplishment!

This kind of trading through one MM sounds
like grey sheets trading. Is that what we're in for until this clears up?
Trading gonna be mighty slow the rest of the week. Someone correct me if I'm off base here.

clarity, what if a shareholder decides to sell their shares and they are presented to MURF ( as in your scenario) and MURF says these are bogus (illegal).. then what...

is that shareholder stuck with worthless illegal shares? who has the liability to the shareholder who thought their brokerage was selling them legal shares? wouldnt the only legal shares be the ones that were purchased before a certain date? thanks in advance.

Much respect clarity!...but isn't this the whole root of the problem with naked short selling, and what enables it to happen to begin with? = When the shares don't get cleared with the DTC?

This seems like the easy way out for these turkeys(naked shorts)and just a convenient direction to point their fingers?

maybe a stupid question. but is it possible that the shareholders are forced to give the shares away to a certain fixed price. let´s say the average price of a certain period.
another question. if this looks good now to us - the shareholders - so why should somebody try to sell. wouldn´t it be better to lay back an wait for the price to rise?
maybe stupid but I am a complete newbee to this.
TIA.

#32706 RE: clarity789 #32253

Clarity, re: cleaning up this entire mess, Darrell Peterson has carried out everything he has said he would do to date in an expeditious, carefully orchestrated, legal & proper manner to the benefit of all parties involved (perpetrators excluded), including the traders/investors...witness the latter of which is his willingness to be interviewed on Trader's Nation, which IMO will be preceded by another PR outlining some more bits & pieces of "the plan."

Restrictions, suspensions, halts or whatever else that resulted and/or may still happen as a result from the initial "DTC Global Lockdown" notice originally issued by Penson in Canada (which IMO was a carefully worded, calculated pre-PR "alert"from Penson meant to instill fear, doubt & panic) notwithstanding, you can bet your bottom dollar that Darrell, being a smart businessman, will seize this golden opportunity of all the attention that has been drawn to this shell to make it an extremely attractive reverse merger candidate (he's mentioned the 15c211 in TWO PRs).

The primary task at hand of course is to resolve the 1.5+ Billion short position issue, which of course MUST occur first before any reverse merger.

Perhaps I'm a bit naive, but given that Darrell evidently wants to move quickly on resolving all of the issues at hand, wouldn't the fastest way of triggering a cert recall, forcing a short covering, & cleaning up this entire mess overall, be to announce the IMMINENT issuance of a miniscule dividend to all of the REAL outstanding shares???

IMO this would send naked shorty scrambling to hurriedly get all of those 1.5+ Billion skeletons out of those crammed closets.

Thoughts and comments regarding any of the above are appreciated. TIA.

Oops!!! Midnight on the West coast...bedtime for bonzo here!!!

Like everyone else here, I'm anxiously looking forward to hearing what Darrell has to say tomorrow both via Press Release and in his live interview on Trader's Nation.

Sincere thanks & KUDOS to the moderators & contributors of DD and constructive commentary on this board.

GLTA!!!

Bob aka "looz" -- (I "outed" my real name chatting with Simon on subpennyradio this evening...LOL!!! I called in to clarify what started the sell-off because he wasn't aware of the .pdf file from the DTC and was yapping about how ugly BHUB got in the morning and was gonna go down the tubes, etc., so I felt a need to get his attention!!!)
