QUA: I had a long conversation with QUA CEO Paul Blythe. I was a little shocked when he told me their board was split on the issue of Amex listing at breakfast. After the presentation, I went to his breakout session and asked for details. He told me that some board members were concerned about the legal liability of S-O. I believe Paul himself wants to be listed on Amex, otherwise he wouldn't have come to the Amex show. Sorry I can't bring the good news to you. I don't think QUA can be listed on Amex this year.
On the other hand the presentation went pretty well and I asked Paul a lot of questions about their Robinson mine operation. Most answers were very positive, like they are reducing the mine trip ratio etc. The only issue is he told me he wouldn't use Q1 as example for future quarters, even QUA itself is still in learning phase.
I am looking at it carefully and still thinking about to re-establish position using the current pull back.
