My first and last post on this board. It was the assistant moderators who asked that people post on the Nascar board their picks without the commas so that we could C&P them into the IBOX. It was not Phil's rule.
I did point that out to you and restored you and unbanned you. Phil as moderator overrode my decision and reversed what I had done.
However unbeknownst to you there were people who were not happy with that. And as I pointed out to remedy the situation I had asked that you refrain from posting your picks to Phil and I would deal with them myself.
Furthermore the same people who were unhappy with Phil banning you were working behind the scenes to remedy the situation. ie, to get you restored to the competition which it is all about.
As for the jesting part, as we got closer to the start of the season this year I suggested publicly that people take the OT crap elsewhere. ie. the mom pop kids crap, which was in fact getting a little old.
As for cbfromli I banned him once for posting a crude remark. Or to put it in George Carlin's terms one of the seven deadly words.
And so that I don't cast stones while living in glass houses; I have tried to refrain from using the seven deadly words.
It would have been nice if you had let the people defending your right to post on the Nascar Board continue to negotiate. There are times when I disagree with Phil but in this instance with this board I'm inclined to think I'm no longer obliged to defend anything.
