I sign up for that cheese just in case a stock I'm holding ends up the topic of spam. FWIW I don't consider hotstockchat to be of that ilk, regardless I can see their emails perhaps driving increased demand which might translate to a good exit point.
I've put this message on RB a couple times:
'I'm a brainless twit who doesn't have the time to make my own investment decisions. It sure would be nice if there was a dedicated group of professionals kind hearted enough to notify me when they believe a stock is poised to move.'
