DAVL is seriously in debt... if they can't find a way to turn it around, I won't touch it. Soon or later, it's going to get a Q. The industry is not going to change as cell phones will eat the market alive... however I will play it as a MOMO (I did it once)... but definitely won't hold it longer than 2 days...

Check the info below, everything is negative... EPS, book value...

BRIEF: Davel Communications owns and operates a network of
nearly 85,000 payphones for coin calls and non-coin calls
in 43 states and the District of Columbia. For the 6 months
ended 6/30/00, revenues fell 21% to $71.9M. Net loss
applic. to Common rose 32% to $21.1M. Revenues reflect the
removal of the non-profitable phone locations, lower call
volumes and growth in wireless services. Higher loss
reflects increased depreciation and interrest expenses.

javalin, thanks for the DAVL MOMO headsup, watchgng it trading at 0.065 x 0.07 with good buying pressure... when the bid support built up, I jumped in, now I'm in a profit... LOL Thank you very much, but I'm prepared to jump out anytime soon... However, I think someone is trying to frontload it...? I've checked my E-mail, didn't see anything about DAVL.
