In the third quarter of 2006, NeoMedia established a reserve for bad debt against the open accounts receivable, and wrote off the deferred revenue and deferred costs, incurring a net charge to its statement of operations of $653,000. NeoMedia will recognize revenue on these shipments if and when collectibility is reasonably assured. David A.
